A Beka Pre-K is the same rate as the full-time weekly rate for daycare. Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM is $170.00 per week. If you choose to participate only in the curriculum portion of the day, the rate is $120.00 M - F, 6:30 - pickup by 2:00. The children are fed breakfast and lunch. This is considered half-day private Pre-K.

A Beka Pre-K is a fulfilling program designed to teach phonics and numbers alongside the Bible and biblical principles Children learn Bible songs and memory verses and are taught a daily Bible lesson and complete corresponding worksheets to ensure comprehension.
 
Through the phonics curriculum, children will learn to sound and blend letters to form words and sentences... they will be READING! Students also learn handwriting in a program correlated with phonics.

They learn to count orally to 100, to count and recognize numbers 1-50 out of sequences, as well as numbers concepts and simple mathematics (addition and subtraction.) 

Students develop their fine motor skills through cutting and pasting, manipulatives such as lacing cards, sewing beads, blocks, various art activities including painting and play-doh. 

Drama, poetry, finger-plays, music and movement, and sketchbook aid in the development of comprehension, language, and thinking abilities.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW:

Language Arts: recognition of name, sound, and picture of long and short vowels and consonants // sounding of blends and one- and two-vowel words // reading sentences and stories with one- and two-vowel words

Manuscript Writing: formation of letters, blends, and words // writing of first name

Poetry: Twenty-eight poems and finger-plays committed to memory

Language: language development and listening skills that include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners, and science

Mathematics: number recognition and counting 1-100 // numbers largest and smallest 1-20 // numbers before and after 1-20 // addition facts // number concepts 1-20

Bible: lessons such as Creation, Noah, Boy Samuel, Daniel, Boyhood of Jesus, Zaccheus, Good Samaritan // memory verses and hymns/choruses
