At Little Dreamers Academy, our Partnership with
Parents establishes a strong connection for the benefit
of nurturing and educating the children entrusted to our
care. We understand how important it is for you to be
informed about upcoming school events and progress
in all areas of your child's learning and development.
Consistent communication is key in a trusting partnership
with parents. This is why we begin our partnership with a
parent orientation. Having a clear understanding up front
of what we can expect from each other helps up establish common goals for the benefit of your child. It is an important foundation for creating the very best early childhood education experience for you and your child. Multiple forms of parent communication - from newsletters and emails to parent conferences and school events - foster the connection between home and school to build relationships and create a continuity of experiences, which increase a child's sense of security and wellbeing.
Daily communication between parents, teachers and school management is an essential component to our partnership. You will also receive additional information on a weekly and monthly basis in a variety of formats, including welcome letters, weekly and monthly newsletters, ongoing assessment communication, parent-teacher conferences, etc.
We have many opportunities for you to be involved in our center through parent workshops, parent-teacher-director board meetings, center rallies, festivals and fundraisers and as always, we promote classroom participation.
Our volunteers play an important role in the success of our mission. We value the time and energy you bring to our organization and are grateful for your contribution. It is our policy to ask all volunteers to sign a liability waiver before they engage in volunteer activities.
